The dashing, mysterious Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi), after hypnotizing a British soldier, Renfield (Dwight Frye), into his mindless slave, travels to London and takes up residence in an old castle. Soon Dracula begins to wreak havoc, sucking the blood of young women and turning them into vampires. When he sets his sights on Mina (Helen Chandler), the daughter of a prominent doctor, vampire-hunter Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan) is enlisted to put a stop to the count's never-ending bloodlust.

…Tod Browing's Dracula is iconic, but not a great film to modern eyes...while the vibe and appearance of Lugosi in the 1931 original is spot-on, most of the other elements, adapted from creaky-old stage-plays, are horribly dated…

I recommend the movie if you want to laugh a little bit and cry 😅😅. This is just fiction,Vlad Tepes has nothing to do with the character in this movie, I'm from Romania and l know. I don't understand why the movie wasn't filmed in Romania but in Finland, that's not dracu's country,but all in all it kept me watching till the end. A sátira or fiction just fiction. Love the priest,such funny character. The actors are so beautiful. Enjoy. I gave 4 stars , because I'm from Vlad's country,and in the movie Romania has borders with France ,and that's false 😆😆😆,to me that was really funny also. But for spend some nice time, is awesome the movie

Synopsis
