It's a joy to look at and has that rarest of present-day ingredients, Hill's hallmark -- taste. What glitters here is pure movie gold. Go to Full Review

Arguably the G.O.A.T. heist-comedy-blockbuster “The Sting” (seven Oscars) is the premier example of the saying, "They don't make 'em like that anymore." Go to Full Review

Ericka R 07/20/2023 I love that I had the opportunity to see it on the big screen again. The first movie I saw in a theater that I remember. I was too young to understand most of it, I was 3, but I loved it all the same. Such a marvelous ensemble of stelar craftsmen. My mom suggested we get the soundtrack. I already have it for her. We were over joyed. The story is clever, tightly paced, and deeply satisfying, unfolding with confidence and style. Robert Shaw is excellent as the formidable antagonist, anchoring an outstanding ensemble cast. Elegant, witty, and endlessly entertaining, this is classic Hollywood filmmaking at its absolute best. See more Romas M @Romas Jan 7 Greetings from Lithuania. "The Sting" (1973) is a great film about cons and those that are being coned. It features very interesting plot, the storytelling is excellent, performances by all involved are great and directing is very good. Robert Redford was nominated for Oscar (and film has won 7) and he gives best performance in this movie. Music was very good and moody. Also set design, editing - all top notch but again it is a story and storytelling combined with excellent performances that makes this movie highly rewatchable. Overall, "The Sting" is a great film that stood the test of time and it is pleasant film to rewatch even in 2026. Great film.
