In the 1950s, Jack (Chris Young) is dying for a prom date with pretty Lily (Josie Bissett), but she's already attached to bad boy Angelo (Beau Dremann). So, to assuage the pain, he passes the time hanging out with buddies Crutch (Keith Coogan) and Floyd (John Cameron Mitchell). They engage in a number of high jinks involving everything from jalopies to getting drunk for the first time. Although Lily remains an elusive target, Jack does find friendship with tough girl Gina (Tricia Leigh Fisher).

07/23/2010 A really, really cute 90's flick that very few people saw. This was another one that I found because of Keith Coogan! Thank you, Keith! With an unknown cast (at that time)...the music of the era is the only thing that propels this comedy. Fans of 'American Graffiti' will most likely enjoy this film more for it's nostalgic look at the music and atmosphere of rebellious youth!!!!!!!!
