Critics Consensus

Though Hackman and Freeman turn in solid performances, Under Suspicion moves at a plodding rate and has a disappointing ending.

Robert P @Superbad 5 days ago Under Suspicion is a 2.5 star Movie! See more Laurie S @Karlwinters Mar 4, 2026 It was very good until the stupid plot twist which spoiled it. See more G R @RT18208067 Sep 23, 2025 It’s a 6/10 but I will rate it higher hecause of overly negative reviews. See more Gregory S @Gregory566 Jun 27, 2025 This movie upset me. There is no way that this movie should be as bad as it is with the absolutely outstanding cast that it does. There story, the script, everything is just a boring mess. Truly unfortunate. See more Mike W @MikeW269 May 28, 2025 I am sorry I spent the time to watch this. Plodding along to an unacceptable conclusion explains the movie. See more Mark B @Mbindon Apr 13, 2025 Good performances and the story works early on, but it seems like they had no idea how to end the movie. Clunky ending you are waiting for a satisfying twist. Nope not there, couple that with all characters are unlikeable and what we have is a waste of time. See more Read all reviews
