rob E @RT45597041 Jul 29 Not the type of film I would normally watch, but was led here by a few short clips on social media, mainly by Elisha who is breathtakingly beautiful in this movie, and has that on screen presence you rarely see these days, the kind Marilyn had or Liz Taylor and a few others. A very subjective thing clearly. That is not the aim of the film or of her performance, but when you see it, you know it, and in this film she has it, it takes your breath away, again very subjective obviously. It is a nice little film, a bit silly but also very heartfelt the the two leads are perfect together even in silly ways. There are lots of nice touches, and considering how young they both were, they did a great job of convincing you that this was a thing. There are so many of this type of film, but this one captured me in a very odd way, and I will be honest because of the female lead. She is utterly captivating!! And that is not an easy thing to admit. Nothing interesting in the plot, and its the wrong treatment for this topic. Is porn treated as casual-neutral, or a negative aspective of society? You can't have it both ways. That porn is okay but she needs help escaping from a form of sex trafficking and the parents are cool with his relationship with her, as though it was nothing, just doesn't work. Is it sex trafficking or is it a comedy? Comes across as neither and in the end has no meaningful outcome. Not funny or entertaining either.
