[Writer-director] Caleo isn't able to sell The Last Time -- not the affair and especially not the ludicrous twist ending. Go to Full Review Jack Mathews New York Daily News May 18, 2007

Feels like a script that was written backwards, as if the twist ending occurred to [writer-director] Caleo first and he then filled out a story to get to it. Fair enough, except getting there in this case is just no fun. Go to Full Review Heather Huntington ReelzChannel.com Aug 27, 2008

Jovana M. @J_loves_movies Jun 19, 2026 Great movie! Although I had a hunch what would happen in the end the plot was excellent and kept me entertained, definitely recommend See more David B @Ddbrantley May 15, 2026 It’s a travesty this movie has received such poor reviews. It is a classic. Very relevant in this modern day toxic male environment that encourages men to repress their emotional feelings in order to work hard and focus on surviving. Underscores how and why many men are scared to let their guard down with women. See more Jeffrey P @vanillavoodoo1 Aug 25, 2024 Starts with a ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ type narrative, only to develop a subplot that takes over but doesn’t really become anything of significance to what the plot seemed to initially be, all before ending in a manner that is doubly as despicable as what one can imagine coming. Honestly it makes me think it may have been inspired by the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ story only from a different angle. Still, the ending is lukewarm and milquetoast. See more Artificially S @ArtificiallySweet Aug 10, 2024 Interesting with a great twist See more M B @RT08876814 Jun 30, 2024 This started off looking cheesy, and the middle didn't inspire much confidence either. But these are great actors, and they did well with the material. The ending was the strongest point. I understand the poor reviews, but this was a worth it movie, to me. See more steve d @RT35616104 Jan 22, 2023 It is fairly uncomfortable but the twist is worth it. See more Read all reviews
