mynameisMudd78 T @MuddyPopcorn 23h Great film. Watched it dozens of times. It is one of those "mass murderer you can connect with " type films. Like Natural Born Killers. Tony is a lonel guy who just wants to be left alone and watch his American Action tapes in.peace. oh he kills a few people but if you notice the pattern, they aren't anyone really worth a second thought about. He starte with a couple worthless junkies. No lose there. Then moves on to a nasty drugged out, diseasr infected ,"rave gay" who is the worst type. Different guys every night, every weekend. No lose there. Then he kills ,what im guessing is some sort of British TV tax collector, who tries to take his tv simply because he has one and didnt pay some tv tax.no lose there either. Really wanted him to take out that cop that showed up but unfortunately he let him go. Woulda been another worthwhile kill there too. The sfx are awesome in this movie. Best severed foot ive ever seen in a film. I'll be honest—I went in with pretty high expectations after seeing some Reddit threads and other online comments praising the acting, the raw atmosphere, even just the film search on Google pics. It all seemed promising. What I got instead was one of the most boring, disjointed, and incoherent films I’ve seen in a while. I’m not even sure what the movie was trying to do—maybe explore the psychology behind the killer’s social isolation? Maybe critique how society fails to understand or care about people in bleak, forgotten suburbs? A jab at British pay-TV culture? Or some kind of statement on the dead-end life of a man who contributes nothing to the system? Whatever it was aiming for, it completely missed the mark for me. Honestly, getting through it felt harder than trying to smoke notebook paper.
