So surprised and impressed by this film: I kind of expected an orgasm-fest cult mockumentary, but got a poignant and hilarious film about "seeking" (enigmatic, seductive leader Peggy Appleyard's followers are called "seekers"), and quixotic, idealistic young people trying to find where they belong. There are some hot and suggestive scenes for sure, but nothing uncomfortable: this is a watch-with-friends movie for sure. So many funny lines- so many little looks, reactions, and quick "confessionals" that had me and my husband both laughing out loud. The editing and cinematography are fantastic, and the beautiful, woodsy Catskills scenery and "feminine-energy"-centered sets are worth a watch all on their own. Is downing copious amounts of fast food and soda (you'll see) part of releasing our feminine sexual power? I'm down to try it. "For the cause", of course!
