A robotic boy, the first programmed to love, David is adopted as a test case by a Cybertronics employee and his wife. Though he gradually becomes their child, a series of unexpected circumstances make this life impossible for David. Legendary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick spent two decades developing this movie, and I really liked where this movie was going. But Kubrick was dying so Spielberg ended up directing it. And Spielberg being Spielberg, he couldn't help but tack on a tonally discordant sappy ending. What a waste of potential.

I have all the respect for Steven Spielberg. He's an incredible director with huge love for cinema and many classic movies. But this one is not for me. I think it's a weird movie. I have still confidence in Disclosure Day. I'm really hyped and can't wait to see it on the big screen monday.
