Levi J @Lev77 Apr 12, 2026 Visually stunning, thought-provoking, deep, surreal short film. Bravo to PTA and Thom Yorke! See more Aluna U @RT14704568 Sep 30, 2025 Anima, Thom Yorke’s short film companion to his third album, masterfully blends music and visual storytelling to explore themes of anxiety and dystopia. Without dialogue, the film communicates emotion through dance, atmosphere, and Yorke’s expressive performance. The story, though simple, is executed with precision—each song matching the rising tension and resolution seamlessly. Visually captivating and emotionally resonant, the film’s choreography and narrative build toward a surprisingly tender conclusion. Overall, Anima is a stunning and artful experience that speaks volumes without saying a word. It's good and the dancing's cool. But, as with anything PTA or Yorke- it's going to get waves of adulation regardless of it's quality. It's cool, it's not like I'm gonna sit around and watch it more than once. See more Justin P @RT33605325 Jun 9, 2025 This was fantastic. I have no deep familiarity with Yorke or Radiohead past their 1st album in the 90s, and I'm pleased to say that my ignorance made no difference in how this film hits. It's a brilliant tapestry weaving several strands of "story" at once, none of them explicit or spelled out, some only fragments and glimpses at longer possible threads that we never fully see. It follows a sort of dream-logic that is visually consistent, brilliantly shot by PTA. You could view this as a short art film or could just consider it an extra long music video. Regardless of which, it is definitely art: a statement presented, full stop. Interpretation, as always, is up to the observer. See more Bobb T @RT42273164 Dec 13, 2024 it sucks, a lack of art and just is terrible. my family (not my sister) hates this movie, it is just disgusting and features gruesome parts, such as thom yorke ripping out a womens lower intestinal track. as well as shooting her 5 times in the head with a m1911. TERRIBLE NEVER EVER WATCH See more LL S @RT94144845 Mar 19, 2023 Thom Yorke at his vaguely unsettling best. See more Read all reviews
