With a title like Big Ass Spider, the only way it could be truly disappointing is if it didn't feature a huge arachnid. Luckily it matches that ridiculousness with an equally over-the-top dose of humor and fun.

This movie is what I WISH all of the Syfy Original movies were like! Cheesy and goofy, but fun, humorous, and self-aware, fully embracing the B-movie genre with passion and glee. Greg Grunberg makes for a fun and quirky protagonist, which is EXACTLY what a movie like this calls for! This movie may not be for everyone, but packed with wit, charm, likable characters, and thrilling monster action, "Big Spider! (2013)" is among the few modern low-budget B-movies that actually works!
