Aside from the opening several minutes, Burr's whole set is like that: thoughtful, surprising, introspective. He keeps yelling, of course.

Bill Burr: Paper Tiger is provocative, then, but only in a way that seems designed to weed out the people like that heckler, who aren't interested in what he's actually saying anyway.

Burr has the gift of being surprising, of resuscitating a done-to-death subject... Still, some bits work better than others.

He excels at reducing benign and thorny topics down to their roots to find a laugh.

[Bill] Burr is equally the guy who thinks it's funny to tease feminist protestors and the man fighting his own devil to be a good father. He doesn't have to be right, he just has to be funny, and Paper Tiger is a furious work of art.

Bill Burr is the GOAT. Funny as hell, Burr basically manages to insult everybody.

Best special of his in years. I don't agree with all his opinions but they are usually funny.

Solid. Very enjoyable throughout the entire special. Perfect blend of dark, gross, and classic humor. A great example of Burr's ability.

Delivers a lot. Makes you feel a good time and surprise you in a decade where a few snowflakes seems to have lost their sense of humour. Always nice listening to somebody that wise and energetic.
