Sheep-fearing Henry (Nathan Meister) returns to his brother's (Peter Feeney) New Zealand farm, hoping his sibling will buy out his share of the property. However, what he finds are genetically altered sheep that prey on humans and turn their victims into undead, woolly killers. Shear madness ensues as Henry, an animal-rights activist (Danielle Mason) and a farmhand (Tammy Davis) set out to stop the rampaging animals.

They used to say New Zealand was the land where men are men, and the sheep are nervous. That equation may be reversed forevermore after this very entertaining Kiwi horror-comedy.

The problem was that this was nowhere near as good as Braindead (1992) or even Undead (2003) and they are cut from similar cloth. I just felt that the whole movie was a bit boring and the characters really dull. The sheep killing action was not over-the-top enough and the comedy a little too bland. It was a fun-ish movie that had some laughs and some revulsion but not really worth watching. It was disappointing because it wasn't crazy enough but at least it was watchable.

Utterly ludicrous but with plenty of humour and over the top gore, anyone who likes Peter Jackson's early films will love this. Sadly it falls over at the end with weak d*ck and f*rt gags and a need to somehow resurrect a lot of people, but it's still great fun.
