keven Q @kevenquinlan Sep 27, 2026 Ok, I'm glad I watched it- it simply wasn't very entertaining. Downey was great as always and the cast was easily professional, I just thought the subject matter was rather drab. I'm glad I watched it- but would never watch again and wouldn't keep for my collection. It's a lot like how The Aviator was. It strikes a good balance between drama and entertainment, making it easy to stay invested throughout. The biggest highlight is the lead performance by Robert Downey Jr., who brings a lot of depth and energy to the role. The film does a great job capturing both the charm and complexity of its subject without losing momentum. While it may not reach the very top tier of biographical films, it remains consistently well-made, with good pacing and a clear sense of direction. It’s an enjoyable watch that holds up well over time. Overall, I’d rate it a 7/10.
