It's been years since Chucky, the doll with the soul and the voice (Brad Dourif) of a psychopathic killer, was apparently destroyed in a fire at a doll factory. Now Chucky's manufacturer is remaking the same line of toys with the old, still haunted materials. This resurrects Chucky, who goes after Andy (Justin Whalin), his former owner, who now attends military school. Chucky slashes his way through a string of grotesque murders as Andy tries to stop the homicidal doll and the spirit within it.

These films are just getting worse...I always thought Chucky was one of the better slasher characters but the setting for this story just doesn't fit. This was also incredible boring compared to the previous films.

This was a lackluster sequel that didn't make any sense and was missing all of the fun that comes with a crazy character like Chucky...very disappointing...

An older Andy faces society's will for youth to conform to the capitalist existence that is modern adulthood, and also must deal with the pressures of toxic masculinity.

[Writer Don Mancini] maintains still that Child's Play 3 is the worst of the franchise. History vindicates him in this belief.

The third installment is definitely goofy with Chucky stalking Andy while he's in the Army, but I have so much fun with the kills here, and I do think what they have Chucky do is pretty creative - (Switching out the paintballs for live ammunition, for example) 3 might have my favorite characters in the franchise. I like Justin Whalen as Andy, the young kid Tyler, the love interest Kristen, and the cowardly friend Whitehurst that saves Andy from getting blown up. I can understand if this one’s not your cup of tea, but I’m a fan of 3. I give it an 8/10.

Child's Play 3 is definitely overhated. It's not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be, but it definitely has its flaws. While it doesn't reach the highs of the first two films, it still delivers plenty of fun moments, entertaining kills, and Chucky's signature humor. It's an enjoyable sequel, even if it's not one of the franchise's best.

It has the most badass opening for a chucky film.I've ever seen and I didn't mind the film in general, of course, there's nothing wrong with Brad dourif's performance. As Chucky, that's the pinnacle of the film and in older Andy Barkley, that's not played by Alex Vincent. Despite the film released in 1991, the film is set in 1998. I mean, was a bit weird, but I didn't mind it. The film is generally good, like the opening scene is kind of its own thing. And the ending is kind of its own thing. But the rest of the film is set at the military school with some good kills
