Claudio C @Claudio666 1d Unfunny with Obnoxious Protagonist (12,506 – 12 Jun 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) In France, the Jewish-Moroccan businessman Simon "Coco" Bensoussan is decorated by the President and gives a party to celebrate. Coco is a self-made billionaire and married with Agathe with two children, Samuel "Samu" and Julia, and have lunch at her mother’s home every day. When his cardiologist tells him that he needs surgery in the heart arteries, Coco decides to anticipate Samuel’s Bar Mitzvah. But he is obsessed with grandiosity and plans an over-the top celebration turning the life of his family hell on earth. "Coco" (2009) is an unfunny French film with an obnoxious protagonist. Coco is an awful character, always wanting parties beyond amazing and neglecting his family wish in his obsession. It seems that Gad Elmaleh is a famous comedian in France, but his humor in this film maybe please French people. That is not my case. My vote is three.
