See more 07/29/2022 A short film that had potential before its follow-up, after spending a long time in development hell, got cancelled, Cosmos Laundromat: First Cycle has great animation and some pretty good music but it's a short film I overall found underwhelming until near the end. I didn't hate it, I was just expecting something better, especially with how well-received it was at SIGGRAPH. Also, this short being on Netflix feels redundant since it's already available to watch on YouTube for free for years. But on the other hand, without Netflix I wouldn't've heard of the short so now I have no idea what to make of this act of redundancy.
