Lorenzo G @garofalo_lor Feb 5 Perhaps what I loved most about this film is its ordinary screenplay, which conceals a rich plot. The setting, the characters and their characterisation are not deliberately complex. One example is the argument between Eric, Christina and Zoe. The dialogues are very good, very realistic in terms of language, looks and the actors' performances. It is also very anecdotal, and at times I did not like this aspect. There is an almost obsessive attention to detail, like the theme of obsession is even present technically in the movie. I found myself wondering several times what was happening, where the director wanted to take us. The plot is mysterious and you don't understand what is going on until the dialogue between Tracey and her father. Incidentally, he is wearing a T-shirt that was very politically significant in those years at the end of apartheid. I also liked the film from a technical point of view.
