Smartly cast with an ensemble of up-and-coming young actors who deliver the bitchy comedic dialogue like they wrote it themselves, Forbidden Fruits is very much of our current moment. Go to Full Review

It’s campy, full of laughs and some gore, and even sounds a chord about breaking free – or at least trying too – of female friendships and cliques. Go to Full Review
Chris Azzopardi New York Times 2d
The movie is rarely fun or funny, further dulled by gray-washed scenes that turn the hottest store in the mall into a pale echo of better cult films. Go to Full Review

It does have some pretty gnarly kills. I'll never go on an escalator the same way again Go to Full Review

The well-acted film generates some laughs while cleverly tweaking commercialism and superficiality, although there’s not much substance beneath the acerbic surface. Go to Full Review

Ash 8h genuinely fantastic, loved this so so much!! the whole cast was incredible✨️✨️✨️ See more MOO 8h Outfits were fire - gave off a bit of a Jawbreakers vibe, and there were some funny wtf moments, but I never feel the need to watch this again. I will say, Victoria Pedretti did a fantastic job in her role. Cute movie! 3.5/5. See more Chuck M 8h very interesting character study. i enjoyed the pacing, the actor commitment to their portrayals. the unexpected aspects to the story. See more j 19h aesthetic is unmatched See more Lainey 20h I love women (especially Victoria pedretti) See more aimee 20h Forbidden Fruits (2026) is a horrorish-comedy film directed by Meredith Alloway about a witchy cult of female employees at a mall store called "Free Eden," led by a character named Apple, who must confront their toxic sisterhood when a new hire challenges them, leading to a bloody fate. This movie wasn't promoted very well. I believe there will be some quotable material in this film. I don't know if it quite hit all the marks for me. But I did enjoy it. They must have hexed themselves with the pacing of this movie. The Preview, I saw gave me The Craft mixed with Mean girls vibe.. but I felt more darkness and wit like Jennifer's Body and Heathers with teen like satire humor and over the top violence. The acting was well done but I needed more comedic moments and maybe artist shots or story telling.. I did enjoy the film but unfortunately it fell a little flat. 3 out of 5 for me. Still a fun watch. Stay for mid credit scene. See more Read all reviews
