casey T @yardwolves Jul 3, 2026 I can almost reccomend it if you enjoy being infuriated by a bad script. Sharks hunt in packs apparently. I have to say I did watch the whole thing. Good for a bad movie night See more lindsay L @lindsaylover2018 Jun 15, 2026 To all those complaining about bad CGI and "goofy" acting, I can only say that you are missing the ENTIRE point of the film. To fully comprehend the film you must dive deeper into the symbolism and extended metaphor this piece exhibits. The movie paints sharks as being ruthless man eating monsters, but is the hunting they do of the people not the same hunting we do of each other? The film is attempting to demonstrate the true evil, not of the sharks, but of ourselves. If we only choose to notice this evil when it wears a scary face, then how can we ever expect to bring justice to our broken world. If anything else this movie is a wake up call. Like Lins, we have to notice what lurks beneath the surface if we what any chance at survival. In conclusion, this movie is one that only the most intellectually complex and observant can understand in its full glory. For those who seem to lack this understanding, I would encourage you to go back and try to focus on the deeper meaning. To everyone who has ever doubted Lindsay (I'm looking at you Matilda L) you claim that the worst part of the movie is when Kahaia says that Lindsay "should be on that survival show" but after that Lins drops her most iconic line of the whole movie: "yeah... a lot of people underestimate me" but she defeats not 1 not 2 but 3 sharks after watching everyone she loves get gobbled up! LindsayLover18 also brings up an excellent point; sharks are misunderstood. Our misinterpretation of them as man eating beasts is just a reflection of our flawed society. Shout out to Treyson and Elliot - sorry about Maximus and the fourth grade incident. Overall Frenzy (2018) is one for the ages. I would definitely recommend for a funny yet heart-wrenching watch. Aubrey if you see this we love you!😘 #Frenzy4Eva Fear Less, Care More 🦈🦈🦈 See more Elliot K @Elliot285 Dec 12, 2025 This. Is. The. Best. Movie. Ever. Made. I am 100% positive that no other directors, actors, or filmmakers are worthy of the screen after this was made. During every deeply emotionally reaching, heart-throbbing seen, my very mind was taken to a place of dreams and wonder, my eyes glued to a whole new perspective on life. During Frenzy (2018), my life was changed. I have never felt so emotional since the death of my 23 year old friend's beloved dog, Maximus. The action and violence of this movie brought back that vivid car accident in a way nothing else could. However, despite the stature of this movie, it could never top the single greatest excerpt of success and cinema, The Chronicles of Timitin, of Lancibar, Part one: Birth of a lord. See more Treyson B @treyson Dec 12, 2025 This is probably the top 2 movies of all time for me. It is the most underrated shark movie of all time. I mean, the quality of this movie was insane. I was scared the whole time except for the happy parts. The happy parts made me genuinely happy for the first time since I was ten and got a puppy. I am 45. Sheesh. That puppy was my best friend until I was 23. Its name was Maximus, but we called him Max. That dog was the best darn dog I've ever had. I have a dog now, but she is a baddie. I am thinking of trading her for a turtle. Back to Max though. I cried for 40 days and 40 nights. Anyway, I'm sorry you had to hear that, but it was extremely sad, right? Back to the movie. The plot twists were insane. The acting was so believable it had me crying and smiling at the same time. I have never cried in my life except for that time my dog, Maximus, died. Also, I once cried in 4th grade when I got gang banged. I cried for so long. Also, when my Grandma told me the story of the red gate. See more Matilda L @RT13019467 Oct 16, 2025 Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. I mean, if it's a first movie for someone, I can turn a blind eye to low budget CGI (like, borrow your little brother's flight sim low budget), but what really made it awful was the sheer stupidity of the characters, childish story, and super unrealistic occurrences. It's like it was made by either a teenager or someone who has lived like a teenager all their life. Or maybe someone from the city who has no idea about...well, anything. Favourite part - when the main character starts brushing a knife uselessly against a bit of wood, and the other kid says "oh, you should be on that survival show!" That scene sort of sums up the whole thing really. See more Read all reviews
