Unique C @uniquecliches 5 days ago The story is interesting and has the potential to be a good movie. The pace is fast, and the film features a few good scenes. However, the acting is somewhat forced and contrived. In fact, the most captivating moments might be those without dialogue. I nodded off twice. See more Jefrey L @Jefreylizardo Nov 29, 2025 Gerontophilia, by Bruce LaBruce, is one of those films that dares to venture into the most remote territories of love—where age, color, space, and time cease to be barriers. Here, it is not about labels or norms, but about connection: about living in the moment, sharing solitude, and accompanying those who have been forgotten or marginalized. More than a story of "strange love," it is a deeply human film—one about hope, affection, and the possibility of finding meaning even on the margins of life. It just took a little imagination to get beyond conventional thinking and lighten up a bit. It covers material that is rarely spoken of in such hopeful terms.
