A vitally important film that hopefully will also serve as a reminder to the U.S. LGBTQ movement that complacency about our hard-won freedoms is far from being a global thing. Far from it.

The good thing about this movie is that it let's those being interviewed to share their view without any interference. It's true that we all have our own biases and I'm pretty the film makers had theirs, yet they seem to be as impartial as they could be. They aren't unfair to IHOP and they give time to a variety of Uganda church leaders to share their views. The only criticisms I'll give it is that they could have interviewed some American Christians who would have been opposed to what IHOP are doing, and they could have interviewed some Ugandan politicians. But all in all it's a wonderfully shot film and worth seeing whatever your views are on the subject.

This was disturbing to me on so many levels. As someone who was raised Southern Baptist, I recognize the earnest desire among the young people on the mission trip to Africa to bring people to Christ, yet I also see the blindness when it comes to the poverty there. The lack of separation between church and state is also terrifying. How many evangelicals would like to see a Muslim leader creating laws regulating morality? And yet, no one seems to have a problem with laws codifying Christianity as the law of the land. A truly thought-provoking documentary.

An extremely well done documentary that shines a light on just how immoral it is to try and convert an entire nation on the basis of compassion.

Tragic and shocking. And absolute watch for religious and atheists alike. Should force you to rethink fundamentalism for all religions.
