I think this movie provides some seriously scary scenes, creepy atmosphere, and visuals that will stick with me for a long time.

A lean and mean feature that proves the increased mobility of the personal camera need not preclude the art of scare making.

This is the definition of terror: needling into your brain and never offering even a morsel of relief throughout its runtime.

Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum is unapologetically a gimmick horror film, where the only relevant character trait is narcissism prefacing a cosmic reminder of just how insignificant any individual human life really is.

The blur between fiction and reality works well, but the problem is that it has been done before, and done well, several times since The Blair Witch Project popularized it in 1999.

One of my favorites! Doesn't have a lot of shaky-cam like a lot of found footage movies, and there are two or three scenes where it focuses more on stretching out the tension and dread.

The cheesy start is totally fine—it actually helps lighten the mood before things get intense. The more I watch Gonjiam, the more I love it. And you know what? A lot of these actors went on to become pretty well-known, which is you know what I'm sayin' 👌🔥 That ending was lit too. Still one of my favorite found-footage movies, can't wait for the next one!!

Wasn't prepared for how much I would like this movie. I really like the concept too. Last 30 min had me spooked and that rarely happens.

Filme bem fraco, para quem não tem costume de assistir filmes de terror, talvez seja um bom filme.
