TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 3 days ago Horny Teenagers Must Die is one of those movies that made me stop and ask, what exactly did I just watch? The story follows a group of teenagers making questionable decisions while everything around them starts falling apart. I kept wondering what the movie was trying to accomplish because the story never gave me enough substance to become invested. The acting was rough, the cinematography was rough, and the screenplay struggled from beginning to end. Even the murder scenes felt underdeveloped, and instead of creating suspense or fear, they added to the feeling that the production was wasting its potential. There were opportunities to create something more entertaining, but none of them really landed. Then the reveal of who the murderer was happened, and my reaction was basically, ok, we get it. There was not enough buildup to make the twist feel surprising or rewarding. Overall, this was a ridiculous mess that wasted my time and energy, and I definitely cannot recommend it.
