In order to obtain funds for her research, Alma (Maren Eggert) is persuaded to participate in an extraordinary study. For three weeks she is required to live with Tom (Dan Stevens), a humanoid robot designed to be the perfect life partner for her, tailored to her character and needs. Critics Consensus

With a thought-provoking concept brought to humorous life by a pair of well-matched leads, I'm Your Man is an AI rom-com whose intelligence is anything but artificial.

"I'm Your Man" is an unexpected delight, succeeding as a romantic comedy - and as much more.

I'm Your Man is an enjoyable but essentially lightweight affair; it poses questions about love, freedom of will, and what it means to be human but doesn't really attempt to answer them.

Honestly, if Jane Austen were alive and writing on a MacBook, she might come up with something like this.

I was really surprised at how sweet I’m Your Man turned out to be. I’d categorise it as a rom-com with sci-fi elements. That’s not usually my cup of tea, but this film was so gosh-darn adorable that I can’t help but love it.

Questions whether humans and artificial intelligence can build a relationship together with a rom-com twist and two charming lead performances; however, it doesn’t go onto deeper territory or explore a more absorbing or weighty path.

I love a good cheesy rom-com, but I also love a movie that keeps lingering on in my mind long after I’ve watched it. This movie hits all the marks.

I was ready to not like it but I did like it. I gave it a chance because it seems like it might be interesting and creative in its exploration, and it was.

It was a good film but just too much self analyzing . I hate it when a grown up has that many questions about themselves by the time they are fifty . Great acting but just slow and repetitive .

I found Dan Stevens almost totally believable as a robot and the complicated feelings that Alma showed him/it were believable too. The movie was intriguing. The German subtitles did not get in the way either.
