As a narrative framework, Director and Producer, Nathan Crooker created a fictional world many months into the future that is based around the current global pandemic. All eleven filmmakers used the same unifying framework in creating their stories. The filmmakers were tasked with how to stay creative using only what was available to them at the time. They were not allowed to use Zoom or any other video conferencing services and were only allowed to use the equipment and resources they had with them when they entered into lockdown, including cast and crew, adhering to their respective COVID-19 protocols.

Like the film equivalent of a support group: it could be draining or it could be cathartic, depending on the individual. Go to Full Review Martin Unsworth Starburst Dec 1, 2021

It's a grim, often disturbing watch and very well made Go to Full Review Joshua Minsoo Kim In Review Online Nov 24, 2021
Isolation never gets past its gimmick, as contrived premises are shoehorned and presented without nuance, failing to capture any real emotions or experiences. Go to Full Review Kat Hughes THN Nov 4, 2021

An anthology movie like no other, Isolation presents a melancholic and occasionally horrific genre interpretation of the last eighteen months (and more) of our lives projected onto screen. Go to Full Review Shaun Munro Flickering Myth Nov 3, 2021

It's inconsistent as most anthologies tend to be, but Isolation's creative batch of low-fi shorts nevertheless aptly capture the horror of the last 18 months - with a heightened genre twist. Go to Full Review Read all reviews
