The title is misleading as well- there is nothing that comes out at night to haunt or hunt this family of 3. Just a mild thriller show at best. See more Jack F @MovieFan111 May 2 Do not pay attention to the bad audience score on this one. Because I read all the negative reviews, I went into this movie thinking I was gonna hate it. It turned out to be the opposite for me. This is one of the most unique apocalypse movies I've seen because it doesn't focus on the disease/apocalypse itself, rather the people just trying to survive. There is almost no context to what happened in the outside world, and you have to use your imagination as to what could be out there and what is at stake. Some kind of disease most likely. Great acting. But it's generally not a good sign when a movie scores much higher in one category than another. That imbalance is typically for a reason, but at the end of the day, it's what YOU the watcher thinks. I'm extremely satisfied about watching this one, and goes to show not all stories need to have a happy ending. You've been watching too many Disney movies. It's time to grow up.
