Critics Consensus

Although its script is uneven, Neil Burger directs Limitless with plenty of visual panache, and Bradley Cooper makes for a charismatic star.

Its science fiction premise about the enhanced drug has a gripping start, but it never breaks its limits and loses the dose of suspense when it frequents common places that, as a side effect, make it terribly dull. [Full review in Spanish]

Limitless is frustrating because there are plenty of compelling ideas at work here, but they’re dumbed down by a screenplay that isn’t capable of being as intelligent as its central character.

Overall a good movie to watch, But the ending is overwhelming, I would love to know what happens after.

I love the idea and the story line, sadly the ending doesn't quite landing well for me. But it worth to watch nevertheless

This movie was painfully bland and predictable in my opinion. I deemed it a stereotypical portrayal of "a man's dream". Lacks depth, creativity and the female perspective.

This is a good movie but the ending felt like a rushed attempt to set up for a sequel that never ended up coming out. It’s a great stand alone film overall.

Drugs can make you smart and strong, but it's still a danger to the human body. I liked this movie, it awakens my side of business man.

This is such a good and easy watch and rewatch, it’s thrilling and run and entertaining and genuinely an enjoyable movie, BUT I will say that it’s not impressive to me. The writing is simple and the set-up is technically bogus. If your a cinephile who only watches masterpieces, this isn’t for you, but if you’re looking for the great movie to watch, this is it.
