LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE is three stories that explore love, commitment, and loyalty between couples and friends. In the film's first story TWO FOR DINNER, a married couple (Joanne Whalley and Chris Messina) find an unconventional way to transcend long distance through technology, but discover they were farther apart than they knew. In SAILING LESSON, a long-married couple (Kathy Baker and Marshall Bell) tries to reignite their honeymoon-phase heat through a spontaneous sailing trip... and unexpected events arise. And in LATE LUNCH, a young woman (Maya Kazan) who recently lost her mother gathers together a group of her mother's friends (including Cybill Shepherd, Rosanna Arquette, and Rita Wilson) to share memories. Surprising revelations ensue.

It draws together a first-rank cast of character actresses and actors, most of them over 50, then mostly fails to invest the material with the invention and snappiness needed to invigorate it and make it memorable, as opposed to merely agreeable.

The filmcould have been a charming, if unremarkable, option for a low-key Friday night. But it's thwarted by the pairing of an uninspired script and uneven performances.

There is a lack of action, both visually and emotionally. The characters are never unseated by a revelation. When they speak, it feels like they have waited their turn.

Three separate movies under one title - you expect some thread of a plot between them all.

Love Is Love Is Love should've been titled Dull Is Dull Is Dull, if people want an accurate description of this slow-moving train wreck. The movie wastes the talents of the cast in this badly conceived and clunky anthology film.

Some esteemed talent on both sides of the camera can't quite rescue this watered-down romantic triptych.

Really boring and old-fashioned film with mediocre acting, but more likely just the stilted dialog to blame.

Possibly the worst movie I have ever seen! It feels as if it was written by a high school creative writing class.
