There’s really nothing to see here, just another synthetic simulation of a film and a genre we used to love, less maintenance required and more complete overhaul.

Come for the rom com, but stick around for Petsch, O’Brian and Bailey, a fun trio that turns out to be the only essential tools Maintenance Required to be an entertaining movie.

The wan and charmless Maintenance Required stalls out before it even gets out of its parking spot, he said, kicking the jack out from under the car so it falls on him, crushing his skull.

Ultimately the title says it all. Maintenance was required, but not performed. Perhaps next time if you are going to check out the Shop Around The corner, just watch the classic this film has dumbed down for Gen Z.

If You’ve Got Mail is your kind of movie, this one is basically its grease-covered cousin 😂 Swap the adorable little bookshop for a mechanic shop, throw in some tools, stubborn banter and a bit of romance, and you’ve got the idea.

Fun romantic comedy and perfect to watch for a lighthearted movie night with my teen daughter. Strong women role models, women owned businesses and a sweet romance to boot. Loved!

Love this movie! Such a cool premise that filmmaker Uhlemeyer wrote from a story she gathered as a journalist. To me, that’s art and life playing out together, nothing better. And who doesn’t love a good love story with a hot-girl mechanic at the center. All the feels. Loved it, watch it!

Such a fun, cute movie! It had that nostalgic feel of a great 80s and 90s romantic comedy with witty flirtatious banter. Such a sweet, funny, feel-good winner.

This slow burn is definitely worth taking the time for. The movie is sexy, fun, full of girl power, and a great reimagination of a classic. In rom-coms, we know the protagonists end up together, but this was a fun romance to watch play all the way out.
