When Thor's evil brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), gains access to the unlimited power of the energy cube called the Tesseract, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Downey's Stark/Iron Man steals the show because the actor is capable of making the tritest dialogue sound wonderfully witty, but the CGI effects are amazing and, despite its length, the film is very enjoyable.

Seems like a miracle that something like this could be pulled off, fully amplifying and improving upon everything each solo MCU movie accomplished before it, while also standing on its own with the team dynamics.

Even though the other Avengers movies has become way bigger and more epic, this movie still holds up today. This movie is special because it feels like a real comic book that has come to life, without it feel to much of the other! But the thing that truly makes this movie so good are the heroes all coming together. It was very fun seeing how one reacted to the other (FX the ego clash between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers), but then they also did a great job giving each characters a story AND a moment to shine! (PS: I really love how Mark Ruffalo made a deeply sympathetic Bruce Banner, it really adds emotion to this story instead of him just being a big angry green monster smashing things all the time). And finally, the New York battle scene is one of my favorite battles in the MCU. Just seeing how every hero gets together, fighting off the aliens...SO EPIC. This movie was VERY rewarding when it came out after those four years of waiting...even today it is masterpiece.
