The animation strives for 1950s sci-fi retro, but the result is that everyone looks like a plastic anim doll. Go to Full Review Stephen Garrett Time Out Apr 7, 2007

What might have been a bland Back to the Future rip-off suddenly hums with a screwball sensibility chockablock with singing gangster frogs and evil bowler hats. Go to Full Review Richard Roeper Ebert & Roeper Apr 2, 2007

See more Steve P @pycni3-sabmIq-gihtes Aug 2, 2026 This is one of the most powerful movies I’ve seen. Its message about letting go of the past and reaching for the future is a timeless truth that speaks to young and old. See more diogo13 T @Tua_mera Aug 2, 2026 An animated sci-fi film with good intentions and an inspiring message, but one that ultimately falls short. The time-travel concept and the mystery surrounding the young inventor's future are interesting, but the movie loses its way midway through due to chaotic pacing and too many quirky supporting characters that don't add much to the story. A perfectly average film—likable, yet forgettable. See more Rowan S @rdog67 Jul 31, 2026 I thought this film was amazing with it starting with a kid that was abandoned and with it ending with him being the smartest and happiest man in the future and it shows that anything is possible with the right motivation and people with you See more Shephard H @Coolguess. Jul 9, 2026 Wacky, colorful and undeniably genius, Disney animation has cooked up the most underrated movie to ever grace the studio. It has laughs and ambitions uplifted by an altogether masterful score that graces the moments of tension equally as much as those of humor. Its twists are believable and brilliant… they match its themes surprisingly well and deliver an extremely relevant message. The movie is only further boosted by its charm contained within the many diverse characters that grace the screen with creativity and unmatched hilarity. I would die a happy man if this movie got a fresh score… if you don’t believe me, then just check it out. Keep moving forward. See more Read all reviews
