Enough tension to keep you hooked throughout See more Alex F @AlexFinch Apr 28 Half the reviewers don’t seem to get it, and I kind of wonder if they watched the whole movie before rating it. There are no random moments in this movie. It’s about confronting mental illness, stereotype, what we think goodness is, paranoia. It’s a great story, and so well-told. As someone raised by a mother with paranoid personality disorder, this is right on and gets into the post-1999 witch hunts for any kid who dares to wear dark colors or have strong emotions from the perspective of a mom educated on the internet’s idea of what a shooter is. Honestly, just watch it. It’s worth it, I promise. The film keeps the tension minimal but effective, forcing the viewer to question where responsibility truly lies. What makes it most disturbing is not the answers it gives, but the ones it refuses to provide.
