Mr. Gibney provides a useful overview of an eventful life but frequently veers off-track into bristling hyperbole. Go to Full Review

Musk works best as an exhaustive chronicle of how the richest man in the world went from being one of the most respected to one of the most dangerous. Go to Full Review

There is no question that Musk serves as a vital, nearly comprehensive document not just of Musk as a person, but of the increasingly dystopian world he is currently helping to shape. (It didn’t need the gimmicks.) Go to Full Review

It’s difficult to "like" or recommend a documentary about such a despicable figure as Elon Musk. The fraud perpetrated upon all of us --- worldwide --- is astounding. Go to Full Review

MUSK employs many hours of actual Musk interviews and public appearances to illuminate the thoughts and comments of the richest man on Earth. Go to Full Review

Extensive, enraging and slickly-edited, but overlong, heavy-handed and exhausting. For the most part, Musk preaches to the choir and feels as over-the-top as a Michael Moore movie like Fahrenheit 9/11. Go to Full Review

Eric P 15 hrs ago Incredible doc! Brilliant! See more Julie O 18 hrs ago The challenge of a documentary is making it interesting enough for you to want to watch. Absolutely accomplished. Clever framing. and clever communication. I knew a lot of this, but I was still flabbergasted. When you see real people talking instead of reading some tweet or something on other social media, it’s a lot more real. See more JD 1 day ago Required viewing if you love America and hate what billionaires have done to it. See more Damon W @DamonW 6 hrs ago If you've followed the news you get it all in this almost 4 hour doc. From the brilliant megalomaniac, then pandemic shifting him to the dark(er)side, to inferred revelations about why helping Trump would protect him, this intermission split doc doesn't really reveal a ton of new stuff. Seeing the bit about his upbringing was interesting however. Musks involvement uses his statements put into an AI body. The interviews with wives, Kara Swisher, and more do give connective context. See more Danny B @RT05321162 13 hrs ago This is not a documentary. It is a four-hour hit piece for critics and EDS sufferers who have been waiting to froth at the mouth about Elon. Gibney asks how Musk got so much power then ignores the obvious answer: he built companies people want to buy from and invest in. Those companies employ well over a hundred thousand people directly and many more indirectly. Shareholders have grown their wealth as he has. He is working toward goods and services approaching zero cost. That is the mass abundance the left says it wants, delivered without heavy government control. Instead the film pushes debunked space laser election interference talk and platforms Ashley St Clair, the mother of his child who has received millions in support while continuing to seek paid platforms to criticise him. A documentary should seek the truth, not serve as propaganda with an agenda. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, but everyone expected this. Half a star because there's no option for zero.
