You made the main character who is meant to be a trained professional soldier look like a complete idiot the entire movie making every wrong decision possible throughout the entire movie. The movie had a good storyline but terrible poor judgement by every character throughout which ruined the entire movie. It was action-packed, adventurous, and kept me focused. The characters stayed engaged, and I thought the casting choices were strong, especially Ryann Philippe, who was incredible and brought a lot to it. The screenplay gave the story plenty to work with, especially through the relationship between the daughter and her father. Watching them battle back and forth created a strong dynamic, but once she is kidnapped, she begins to understand who her father really is and just how far he will go to protect her. That gave the story an emotional layer beyond the action. There are some missed opportunities, especially where the fights and buildup could have gone deeper, but for what this is, I thought it was very well done. It was enjoyable, entertaining, and kept me invested. I definitely think everyone should check it out, and I am excited to move on to Chapter Two because I feel like it could be just as good. The sick thing is that something like this could absolutely happen, especially considering how crazy the world we live in has gotten. I legitimately felt fear and anxiety during the bulk of this movie, and that's a good thing! It was great to see Ryan acting again, too. I sincerely hope he sticks with it, as he has a lot to offer the big screen! Off to watch Chapter Two! I hope it's just as good. Crossing fingers! See more Read all reviews
