Ed . @RT01276001 Aug 29, 2025 I'm glad that Roy Scheider spared Georgia Engel's life. Compare Engel's role here with Sally Struther's in The Getaway, then let's discuss. See more Aug 8, 2019 The seriousness/drollness of our leading man is comically juxtaposed with bizarre scenarios and cartoonishly idiotic supporting characters. See more Jan 3, 2015 Not bad, not great, thriller with a high quality cast and a very 70's look. Decent blend of action and personal drama. Ann-Margret, deeply tanned and strawberry blonde, looks astonishingly beautiful. See more Oct 19, 2010 More then expected for this intelligent French-American crime drama. Shot in Los Angeles, a hired French hit man by a Los Angeles mob family finds himself the subject of a hitman himself. A bit off-beat (unconventional) French directed movie, the French seem to invade Los Angeles and start shooting things up near the end of the film with their American gang counterparts at a bizarre funeral. Be sure to wait for deceased, its worth waiting for and a bit amusing as well. Roy Scheider (Jaws) excellent as always, stars with French actor and hired hitman Jean-Louis Trintignant along with a few well established medium grade "stars" of the time such as Ann-Margret, Angie Dickenson. A cat and mouse thriller from back street alleys to mansions. *************************************** CAST Angie Dickinson Roy Scheider Ann Margaret Jean-Louis Trintignant CREW Producer: Jacques Bar Editor: William K.
