Hasnain I @shirsho 4 days ago Spot On! Story, acting, screenplay, everything is top notch. One of the very few movies where the mighty Irrfan is overshadowed by his co-actors. Amitabh and Deepika dropped two bombs of performances. And maybe I was expecting something more from the story, dont know what that is. See more Likith C @Likith Jan 9, 2026 Piku — A Beautifully Human Father–Daughter Story. Piku is a rare gem—simple, honest, and deeply human. At its heart is Piku Banerjee (Deepika Padukone), a fiercely independent woman juggling her career, relationships, and an emotionally demanding father. Deepika delivers one of her most natural performances, portraying modern womanhood with wit, warmth, and quiet strength. Amitabh Bachchan is unforgettable as Bhaskor Banerjee—brilliant, stubborn, and emotionally vulnerable—while Irrfan Khan brings gentle charm and grounded realism as Rana, the calm presence in their chaotic journey. The film finds humor in everyday frustrations and tenderness in ordinary moments, turning a road trip into an exploration of love, responsibility, and personal freedom. Piku is not loud or dramatic—it is sincere, soulful, and unforgettable. Powered by extraordinary performances, it proves that the simplest stories often leave the deepest impact.
