Dec 18, 2020 The original Prancer film is far better. See more Sep 11, 2020 This movie tries too hard to be the original. Had I not seen the original so many times and not loved it so much I might like this movie more. But I've always said that sequels only work when they have all or at least some of the original cast. This has neither but it tries to follow the same storyline. I do like John Corbett who had a big role in "Prancer Returns", but this movie was a little more mean-spirited than the original. Supposedly for the past ten years they've had a Prancer ceremony in honor of Jessica Riggs, the main character from "Prancer". But there is barely any mention of her except in passing. But overall, the movie is cute, but it's not anywhere near as magical as the first. However, as a first viewing it's worth watching. See more Dec 21, 2013 Prancer Returns, Is A Fast Moving Family Drama, But Drops A Bit Regarding Plot As It's Basically The Same Plot. Aside From The Same Plot, The Script & Acting Talent Isn't That Great. The Only Real Talent Is Jack Palance, And His Role Is Sadly Short And Not That Great. This Is An Average Film & There Are Worse Christmas Sequels Out There Which Copy The Original. See more Dec 14, 2012 Crap, they boy was annoying and the fall would have left him paralyzed. Just more crap that is pushed out around December. It's rare when a Christmas movie isn't crappy, but this one is not that occasion. See more May 31, 2010 one of my favorite Christmas Movies See more Dec 23, 2009 Its ok. ten years later, it doesn't seem to capture the first one's innocence as well, and the romance of the mother seems kinda out of place. but has a sweet ending at least!
