Bret M @BretM-3 1d Let me start off this off by saying, prior to my viewing of Prey, I’d never seen a Predator movie ever. So I just went into this movie hoping for a good time and a great film and wasn’t worried about lore or continuity or anything like that. And I’ve got to say, I was throughly impressed and am eager to watch more Predator movies! I loved this movie’s Predator and all his technology. I also loved all the action scenes, in particular, I loved the entire bear sequence. It does such a good job in showing the might of the Yautja because, we see this big bear that is a huge threat to the human characters, but then they contrast this by immediately showing us a bigger threat that easily takes out the bear. That’s an awesome scene! I also really enjoyed the setting and the time period and the challenges the characters faced due to their lack of resources and technology. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and recommend it to newcomers like me and franchise veterans. See more Beingalive I @Rarwww 1d Really good movie that is satisfying to watch, it upsets, keeps you hooked, satisfies you and makes a lot of sense. Naru (the protagonist) grows as the movie continues and is not born as a super-human but learns her lessons, is sometimes naive and does get herself in bad situations. Its a beautiful movie with a beautiful scenery, great to watch alone but also with people. I actually went into not knowing it was a predator movie (and not having seen any of the others), and it stands really strongly on its own. Imagine this in IMAX, pity it will probably never be in any theatre for that matter😭. My new favorite Predator at the moment. Everything just falls perfectly in place. Very well and skillfully written. Amazing cinematography and effects (somehow "dodgy", as labeled by critics, does not bother at all?) Visually just mind-blowing. Whole cast excels in character.
