There is an attempt to imitate the legendary martial arts film Ong Bak, both in its fighting style and action sequences. Sao) is captured by police and tells his story. Attempting to hide from mobsters, he accepted a job as a security officer in a building with strange residents. When someone starts kidnapping children, he encountered violence of human and not so human kinds. Enjoyed this film. It's a visceral film you view for the action and odd characters. D.Y. Sao, who was a utility stunts performer in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, isn't a good actor but he impresses with his martial arts displays. The world building is engaging and many of the costumes are well done. A strangely appropriate but accidental double feature which I viewed this and Darken.
