Raw J @RT87545242 Oct 3, 2026 Slalom (1965) – A Cheesy Italian Spy Movie Directed by Luciano Salce, Slalom combines Italian comedy, skiing, mistaken identity, and a James Bond-style spy adventure. As a child, I enjoyed this movie, but I had forgotten about it for many years. Recently, I rediscovered it on the Internet Archive, bringing back old memories and reminding me how cheesy movies were back in the day! What's interesting is the cast. Daniela Bianchi, who plays Nadia, appeared in From Russia with Love (1963) alongside the legendary Sean Connery. Adolfo Celi, who plays Riccardo, appeared as the villain Emilio Largo in Thunderball (1965), also starring Connery. Watching it again in 2026, I noticed how dated and cheesy it feels. Yet it has a charm and atmosphere rarely found in modern movies. If you enjoy Italian cinema, spaghetti westerns, and films from the '60s and '70s, give it a try. I'd call it a spaghetti agent movie! Well done for its time, with a fun English dub featuring amusing accents. See more Read all reviews
