Joe G @darkknight85 2 days ago Even though this was steamy and sensual, Megan is still the best version of these AI movies. By that I mean Megan part one. The kills were okay but the movie didn't have any creepines to it. It's not a horror or a thriller. The deeper horror isn’t simply an obsessive partner. It’s the belief that love can be engineered, demanded, or possessed. On the one hand, the idea isn’t new, but it’s particularly timely and piques your curiosity—even though the ending is almost always the same in this genre of films. The beginning is very good and leaves you wanting more. Unfortunately, though, the remaining 70 minutes drag on very slowly and without any inspiration, leading up to a finale that was exactly as expected—including the cliffhanger, which isn’t really a surprise either. Sadly, a lot of potential was somewhat carelessly wasted here. They should have made much more of it. The cast isn’t really convincing either; one or two roles would have deserved better, more charismatic actors. It clearly was written by some dinasour from a gross period where woman are merely toys for grown men who never escaped their lower teens. The concept is curious but the execution is rather lazy and dated. Even A.I. from the early 2000s had a much broader view of this subject. Don’t waste your time.
