Kids in the audience will probably get a kick out of the whole affair. The film does try to be serious and sentimental at times — often to no avail — but at least it’s never boring.

A-

It gets away with its plot contrivances and general silliness by never taking itself too seriously, and delivering plenty of genuine laughs.

A fun, but forgettable Forger family flight of fancy that's enjoyable on its own terms.

Anime films with original stories are a great way to spend time with characters we love. There are high stakes, sure, but since this isn’t adapted from the manga, the status quo is not going to be radically altered.

Spy x Family Code: White is one of the best anime spin-off movies out there, but also is ultimately nothing more than a reminder of how good the show is.

While it is a joy to watch, its story and characters are utilized to emphasize a lot more of the comedy factor than the action/adventure factor. The characters need more development and bonding time with each other. They care about each other but need to show it better. Aside from that, good movie. I like it and the anime it’s based on.
