Merry C @merry_cherry 3 days ago I love films where an ordinary person gets pulled out of everyday life and suddenly faces a supernatural world. Vampire, succubus, whatever. If you like stories about seduction with deadly danger and have a weakness for beautiful supernatural beings, you have to see this one. Succubi show up in films far too rarely. You can tell the filmmakers actually understood the myth. And there are no jump scares at all, which I really liked. The storytelling is bold and really well done. Part of the story plays out through chats, social media and video calls. It fits perfectly, and I'd never seen anything like it in a film before. What I found a bit of a shame is that the film abruptly changes direction halfway through. I would have liked the mysterious back-and-forth to last even longer. But that's just personal taste.
