Don C @Dcrecelius Sep 17, 2026 I went in with very low expectations. I thought the marketing was poor. However, I really enjoyed the movie. Acting was good as well as the story. A few marks off for a few corny parts but all in all, an entertaining flick. Much better than expected. See more Horror fan 4 @Horrorfan4life Aug 10, 2026 Wow what a pleasant surprise. Helen Slater was terrific as Supergirl. Faye Dunaway as Selena the witch was a perfect villain for Supergirl. It was great seeing Marc McClure as Jimmy. The quick little origin story of Supergirl was fascinating. The effects were what I expected and the love interest for Linda Lee was ok. Can't wait for Supergirl 2026. Selena is the most fun villain in all Superman/Supergirl media and Helen Slater is just gorgeous as Supergirl. Power of shadow commands you to watch this movie. See more Jamie P. @RT78434307 Jun 30, 2026 I prefer this 1984 Supergirl movie to the newer 2026 Supergirl. Heather Slater did a fantastic job with some amazing flying scenes. It’s a shame Christopher Reeve wasn’t in the film as once talked about but his poster was in the film showed it was in the same universe. See more Gary E @RT72682551 Jun 28, 2026 I’d say it’s better than the modern Supergirl movie—and that’s really saying something. See more Adam W @RT44251685 Jun 28, 2026 I loved this movie. It kept me entertained the whole time. Milly Alcock was great. Jason Momoa was a great Lobo. I went through the whole range of emotions. It was a great introduction of who Kara is in this version of the DC Universe. See more Read all reviews
