J.Ricco C @ricceaux Aug 13, 2026 This is not only one of the best baseball documentaries ever made, it is one of the best any kind of movies ever made... comedy, documentary, it is thoroughly entertaining throughout the entire movie. Top notch and highly recommended. It being a true story makes it even more enjoyable. See more Leaburn O @RT35452347 Mar 8, 2026 It’s a lovely romantic tale of sport in a country that usually doesn’t understand sport outside the corporate institutions that run major leagues. This type of team is far from atypical in English football which is why communities really relate to their teams. It’s good the US got a small taste of it at least once. Watched on Netflix. It's a heartwarming story about one man's dream of helping other people chase their own dreams. Bing Russell's pursuit of turning the forgotten and abandoned everyday folks into a team of inspiring leaders and players is one I respect and appreciate, both as a baseball lover and a compassionate human being. So glad I came across this film, because it brought a big, fat smile to my face and made me antsy for baseball season to return! See more dave d @RT34924333 Sep 15, 2021 If you have every spent any time in baseball you'll love this movie and how accurate it is about the baseball establishment. It's a documentary on an independent baseball team who got to play against minor league teams for five seasons. It sounds made up, but it's not. Let the film wash over you and if you're under 50 you likely have no idea this ever happened. Final Score: 10/10 (It's my cup of tea) See more Kevin F @RT12434356 Jun 25, 2021 Loved this movie. It is a story that I did not know off. If you love baseball and baseball history you will love this movie. See more Jun 3, 2021 I think anyone who likes baseball will love this movie. It shows how some times baseball needs something like this team to change things, even though it may have taken a few years to see some of it. Sending it to my dad to watch.
