This is a movie with a big heart, and nice performances from Josh Bolt and Eugene Byrne, playing teenage best mates, but for me it somehow never quite got over its sentimental unrealities. Go to Full Review Michael Leader Little White Lies Dec 2, 2010

A conflicted, uneven experience: sugary kitchen-sink realism with wank jokes. Go to Full Review Simon Crook Empire Magazine Nov 29, 2010

It could have been terrible, but director Bruce Webb's comedy is affecting, funny and really very moving. Go to Full Review Kate Stables Total Film Dec 8, 2010

Both plotting and playing are a bit ragged and the visuals are telly-tastic, but the film's fresh, unvarnished take on male friendship is altogether winning. Go to Full Review Henry Fitzherbert Daily Express (UK) Dec 6, 2010

Sep 4, 2012 all cliche and predictable, but still sweet and funny See more Oct 31, 2011 slow paced with an okay story that kinda hovers around the unimportant bits rather than the main theme. couple of funny bits at best. See more Oct 20, 2011 A beautiful and dead-on portrayal of male friendship. See more Jul 9, 2011 Watched 30minutes total crap can't believe 90% of viewers liked this. See more Apr 24, 2011 One of the best and most honest coming of age stories I have seen in a long time. The accents are extremely thick that it's hard to understand what they are saying but the story is so rich and good. I enjoyed watching this movie. See more Nov 12, 2010 Fantastically funny british comedy drama. Directed with a deft hand and featuring apredominantly young and unknown British cast this movie will make you laugh and choke back the tears in equal measure. Support British cinema and go and see!
