The acting was good, but the story was unrealistic, depressing, and horrifying. Just when I thought there might be some redemption towards the end, it hopelessly unraveled. What a waste of effort. Even if it portrays a specific historical period, it is horrifying The very scaffold of hopelessness where everyone seems to want to hang themselves. How could someone write such a dreadful thing, and how did it even get made into a movie? No!
