B P @Bradster69 Sep 29, 2026 Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Sep 24, 2026 The Oregonian is another absolutely awful horror movie. I thought this was one of the worst films I’ve watched in 2026. It was such a complete joke that I kept wondering how anyone thought this screenplay was ready to become a finished movie. The story was confusing, the acting was terrible, and nothing seemed to connect. The screenplay was a major problem because there was never enough development to explain what was happening. Then you have this extremely strange frog-like man in a suit, which somehow made the whole thing even more bizarre. I honestly couldn’t figure out what the movie wanted me to understand because everything felt so disconnected and chaotic. Watching this woman run around covered in blood, getting caught up in these strange situations and desperately trying to escape, should have created suspense, but instead it left me wondering what the heck I was watching. The Oregonian was a complete disaster for me, and I absolutely do not recommend it. Skip this one. See more Jeff C. @filmcrew1928 Jan 16, 2026 First - not even shot in Oregon, but instead in Washington. And I had no idea what the hell was going on after the first 5 minutes. Watching an hour and a half of an actual Oregonian newspaper would have been more interesting. See more May 30, 2020 Nutty and disturbing Lynchian nightmare fuel. Almost too grating for what they were attempting but there’s some serious artistry here. Glad I saw it but would not fux with again. See more Jan 13, 2020 Breathtakingly sophomoric in its conception and execution but nonetheless in a way compelling, like finding a "mating ball" of garter snakes in one's backyard: it's just weird enough to keep one from walking away. I'm probably being overly generous by giving it two stars, but what the heck: it killed a couple of hours between now and the grave. Briefly put, I have had acid trips (bad ones) with better plot development and characterization. See more Jun 8, 2015 Calvin Reeder's movie is actually a number of stolen disturbing cinematic cliches stitched together to form a mess of confused horror. But no one can deny that Reeder doesn't manage to create some oddly artistic and semi-comedic creepiness from beginning to end. It is quite flawed, but fans of trippy horror movies will be entertained. This film along with his short features offers an interesting glimpse into an experimental horror filmmaker finding his own voice. See more Read all reviews
