Berg, who has worked mostly in French TV and makes his feature debut here, has a knack for ratcheting up suspense and finessing the technicalities in order to maximise the creepiness.

Just horrible. The movie was a mess, all the characters looked a mess, the acting was a mess, the plot was a mess. How do you get captured by old crazy people, when your young and stronger than them. Just an absolute MESS. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Maisey was great. All the actors are good. It was actually quite decent until the horrible contrived ending. Terrible writing. It's not often that I feel so strongly about s film being bad but this was a complete waste of my time.

The Owners is a fairly decent Thriller / Horror. Well lead by a cast including Maisie Williams and Syvester McCoy (yes, one of the 'old' Doctor Who's), the movie certainly amps up the tension as the plot unfolds. Certainly well worth watching for those who like gritty thrillers with a few twists and turns.
